September 2022
AgroViet, the 22nd International Agriculture Trade Fair, hosted by the Agriculture Trade Promotion Center (Agritrade), VnExpress, and IFPPS, took place in September 2022 at the Ministry of Agriculture Exhibition Center. With over 200 exhibitors, this event proved to be one of Vietnam's largest and most prestigious agricultural gatherings, attracting thousands of visitors.
AgroViet served as a vital platform for farmers, agricultural businesses, and industry professionals to present their latest agricultural products, technologies, and innovations. The 2022 edition of the event specifically focused on showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations in agriculture while providing an opportunity for businesses and organizations to foster connections and exchange ideas.
The exhibition encompassed a diverse array of agricultural products and services, including machinery and equipment, fertilizers, seeds, livestock, and food processing technology.
A significant highlight of AgroViet 2022 was the forum on sustainable agriculture, which brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss strategies for promoting environmentally-friendly practices within the industry. The forum also explored the potential of technology to improve agricultural efficiency and productivity while minimizing its impact on the environment.
The event's business matching program facilitated fruitful meetings between exhibitors and potential buyers, distributors, and partners, creating opportunities for businesses to expand their networks and explore new markets.
AgroViet 2022 also featured a series of seminars and workshops covering various topics related to agriculture, such as organic farming, food safety, and effective marketing strategies for agricultural products.
IFPPS expressed pride in being part of this significant event and looks forward to collaborating with VnExpress and Agritrade in promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting agricultural workers in Vietnam.
In a major development at the latest exhibition, IFPPS has successfully clinched significant purchase orders valued at approximately $500 million. Leveraging its robust network of association members across Asia and its strong ties with Chinese businesses, IFPPS has managed to attract large-scale buying commitments.
Over the next 12 months, IFPPS plans to engage with both online and offline suppliers to finalize the procurement process. This move highlights the association's commitment to fostering connections and facilitating seamless shopping experiences.
The event underscored the growing importance of Vietnam's agriculture sector within the region and highlighted the potential for innovative practices to drive its growth and development.
